What better way to celebrate all things Ireland than with a Holiday by Steam to the beautiful Emerald Isle?

This June we will be heading across the Irish Sea for the third year running to explore this beautiful Island, including an opportunity to travel up to the ferry crossing behind Flying Scotsman!

This trip starts on Wednesday 14 June and finishes on Thursday 22 June 2017. If you were interested in doing the optional Flying Scotsman leg, the holiday would begin the day before (Tuesday 13 June).

On Day 2, passengers will bid farewell to the famous locomotive and board a ferry from Holyhead to begin a week-long steam tour of Ireland. Highlights of the trip include a visit to Killarney, set in Ireland’s Lake District and a visit to Belfast, taking in the impressive Giants Causeway.

Prices start at £1,795 per person or £1995 including Flying Scotsman leg and one additional night in Chester.
